Contact Information using QR codes

Fun poster I created that parents can scan and keep all my school information.

How to do yourself:

  1. Choose a QR code generator.  I like http://goqr.me
  2. Choose <text> and enter your information that you want people to see when they scan your code.
  3. Hit the <download> button and save your QR code.
  4. Open and copy code.
  5. Paste code in a word document with your text directions like above.
  6. Print and post for all to see!

You Rock!

Our 1st grade theme is 'Rock Stars' this year.  Last year we gave out bags with goodies in them and added pop rocks to them.  This year, I am going simple :)  At meet the teacher night, all students will have pop rocks on their desks with a cute label.  Enjoy as you go home and dream of being a rock star in 1st grade!
So excited for the new 2013-2014 school year!  Go 1st grade ROCK STARS!

Thanksgiving

It has been a fun couple of weeks getting ready for thanksgiving! The kids were so excited when they heard we were going to use paint, especially all over their hands. We made turkeys with our hands and hand wrote a sweet poem underneath. A gift for the parents, handprint of their little one to keep forever!

Teachers Pay Teachers

Teachers pay teachers is a GREAT resource!  I love this website.  I love it so much I decided to give back and start selling some of my own things.  Look me up, Andrea Vaughn.

Beginning a Blog!

Moving to a new school district and starting fresh with a new team has inspired me to write, share, and learn more.  I love first grade blogs!
